Artist's Description
A photograph of an original cover of one of the sixteen books of the Cranford series. The Cranford series is the name given, in retrospect, to a number of distinctive reprints of classic tales by Macmillan, who commissioned some fine artists to illustrate them. They are recognisable by the dark green cloth bindings with gilt edges, which have full and rich gilt pictorial blocking on the covers and spine. From the late 1800's, the books are over 100 years and show the normal imperfections.

Jack enjoys landscape and nature photography. His love of cars shows up in many of his photos. He has won awards for his nature photography work. He has a BS and MBA from Ohio University. He has lived in many different states during his corporate career. He holds a CPA certificate and is a former owner of a Wild Birds Unlimited franchise in Kentucky.
